Board President's Welcome

What a pleasure it has been these past five years to be associated with
the wonderful North State Symphony. We concluded our 99th season as a
north state musical organization with a truly outstanding presentation of
Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". I can only imagine the reaction, had the
original 1905 musicians been present to see the results of their modest
beginning. Now our Centennial Season is here. What will the next one
hundred years bring? New music I'm sure, but perhaps our audiences will
still be thrilled in 2105 to hear another performance of Beethoven's 9th.
