Yo-Yo
Ma Concert
April 27, 2012
Chico Performances will celebrate its 30th year with a special performance by Yo-Yo Ma and Kathryn Stott with the Assad Brothers, and you can attend and help NSS at the same time!
Yo Yo Ma's classical playing is the finest in the world. But perhaps his greatest achievement is showing how classical styles, world music and jazz can inspire each other in harmony!
A special NSS ticket package includes your concert seat (which would be $95 by itself at the box office); a pre-concert reception with light appetizers, champagne and a few comments about Yo-Yo Ma by Music Director Kyle Pickett; and a partially tax-deductible portion benefitting NSS, all for $150. The reception is being planned in Colusa Hall, the oldest building on the Chico State campus now freshly restored, just a short stroll from the concert venue at Laxson Auditorium.
This amazing cello, piano and guitar concert is sure to sell out. We only have 150 tickets available and they will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
To order your ticket(s), click here for an order form [PDF].
