At North State Symphony, we believe that music has the power to inspire, educate, and connect people of all ages. Each year, we bring the excitement of live symphonic music directly to students through engaging youth concerts and school performances.
These interactive experiences introduce young audiences to classical music, often featuring lively narration and opportunities for students to ask questions and connect with musicians. Celebrating Young Talent
Our annual Young Artist Auditions highlight the extraordinary talent of emerging musicians in the North State. In collaboration with the Redding League and the Chico Guild, these auditions provide a platform for young musicians to showcase their abilities and gain support from key community organizations.
Winners are awarded a cash prize and have the unique opportunity to perform as soloists with the symphony, giving them valuable performance experience and recognition as they advance in their musical careers.
